Job Description:
Senior Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and
experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team within the
building materials industry. This role will play a key part in
leading accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring
internal controls are maintained, and collaborating closely with
cross-functional teams to support accurate financial
decision-making. Job Type: Full Time Responsibilities for the
Senior Accountant: Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and
month-end close processes. Prepare accurate financial statements
and internal reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to
safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to ensure
timely and accurate financial data flow across departments. Analyze
financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
operational and financial improvements. Assist with budgeting,
forecasting, and cost analysis for key building materials products
and projects. Support internal and external audits by providing
required documentation and explanations. Mentor and guide junior
accounting staff to support team development and accuracy in
reporting. Requirements of the Senior Accountant: 5 years of
progressive accounting experience, preferably in the building
materials, manufacturing, or construction industry. Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge
of internal controls, financial reporting, and GAAP standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational
abilities. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
to working within cross-functional teams. All qualified applicants
