Additional Skills/ Special Training Required/Equipment Knowledge Must be able to drive a forklift. Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division with the assistance of a calculator. Ability to Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a limited number of two-and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to work overtime, as necessary RESPONSIBILITIES: Time Spent Major Task 40% Process orders - verify and apply stickers for Inbound Process - distribute weight of product on trailers according to individual load plan. - use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse. - required to use assigned individual security passwords - assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements (Including spills, damages, and returns). 40% Transports material by operating various types of Material Handling equipment (e.g.: forklift, clamp truck, reach truck, cherry picker) Prepares, loads, shipping and receiving - process and stage damaged product in accordance with SOPs - changes/Recharge lift batteries by using Multi-shifter - Must be able to lift 65 lbs frequently. Meet productivity set by management without damage to product - must use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product - participate in projects and teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (safety, quality, service, and cost) - work with warehouse computer applications (WM, Traxx, RF Term, etc) - inspect trailer and complete documentation before each load - responsible for activating temperature monitors on temperature sensitive products 20% Documentation - maintain daily lift checklist - complete pick documents for Freezer products and packing list as required WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical Effort (% of time ) Stand 85% Sit 10% Kneel 5% Reach above shoulders 15% Reach below knees 15% Talk 50% Walk 35% Stoop 10% Crouch 5% Hear 100% See 100% Handle Materials 100% Lift (include max weight) 65lbs Climb 5% Carry (include max weight) 65lbs Push (include max weight) 0lbs Pull (include max weight) lbs Physical Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
