Job Description:

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for providing Total Rewards support to all employees. Assists employees and management with the administration of all benefits programs, including, new enrollments, leave of absences and terminations for all plans that are under the scope of the Benefits Team. Acts as a liaison with all carriers, vendors and our benefits broker. Proactively seeks out opportunities for improvements and enhancements within the Benefits Team related to areas of compliance, employee communications and processes. Strong project management skills and ability execute on-time quality results.This exciting opportunity can be 100% remote!Provides information and assistance to employees on benefits, policies, guidelines and programs. Work to respond in a timely, consistent and fair manner to resolve employee questions/concerns and requests for information.Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing.Ensure new employees receive information for all eligible benefits for which they are eligible and tracks information from initial eligibility to completion of enrollment.Coordinates the Leave of Absence process alongside our leave vendor, including FMLA, disability, Worker's Compensation and all other related leaves of absences.Requires maintaining working relationships with vendors and implements plan changes and/or new carriers/vendors for all plans under Total Rewards.Provides direction and support for all 401(k), pension and equity plans as well as customer service for these programs for all employees.Provides customer service support to internal and external customers.Designs and distributes communication materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptionsReview payroll deductions for accuracy on a per pay period basisEnsures compliance of Benefits Plans with federal, state and local laws and regulations.Provide on-going analysis on trends, legislative changes and best practices within the benefits offerings.Provide guidance on benefits programs and administration with respects to Section 125 regulations, COBRA, FMLA, ADAAA, HIPAA and IRS regulationsPrepare and submit government required reports as neededMaintain a no surprise atmosphere, and a proven ability in sound decision making and escalating, where appropriateSuccessfully lead other special projects and duties as assignedPerform other duties as required by management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources or related field, and 1 to 3 years of Benefits experienceComprehensive knowledge of benefits programs and benefits administrationAbility to anticipate and meet deadlines through proper time managementMust have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a teamPossess strong project management skillsMust be detail oriented with good work ethic and maintain confidentialityMust be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and PublisherBenefitsCONMED offersCompetitive compensationExcellent healthcare including medical, dental, vision and prescription coverageShort & long term disability plus life insurance -- cost paid fully by CONMEDRetirement Savings Plan (401K) -- company match dollar for dollar up to 7% Employee stock purchase plan -- allows stock purchases at discounted price.Tuition assistance for undergraduate and graduate level coursesCONMED is an Equal Opportunity Employer & an Affirmative Action Employer.
