The AVP oversees the day to day operations of the WPC, develops essential policies and procedures, and implements routine processes, functions, reports, and practices.-- This position partners with hospital, division and group leadership to achieve best practices in staffing and scheduling.-- This position requires solid leadership, trust building, team building, as well as change management to influence and lead other HCA departments and business partners in order to ensure success of the Workforce Planning Center initiatives. This individual must possess excellent communication skills, proven facilitation skills, have an executive presence, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and attaining goals.-- Customer service and experience in building large teams with 24/7 operations is required.-- The position requires great flexibility.--Responsibilities include:---- -- Establishes relationships and is viewed as a trusted advisor to division and hospital leadership regarding workforce management Provides direct leadership, oversight and accountability for the operational effectiveness of the Workforce Planning Center In conjunction with the PI Leadership Team, develops and executes the annual WPC strategy that supports the organization Works Collaboratively with key stakeholders to monitor and provide continuous improvement of staffing and scheduling processes and outcomes Provides and direction to the WPC team to ensure operations meets the needs of the facilities within its span of control Responsible for the hiring, developing and managing of WPC staff Conducts routine meetings with hospital and division leadership to review the performance of the organization and the WPC in meeting the organization---s expectations Works with PI Education to develop onboarding and continuous training for WPC staff Enables decision-making by effectively analyzing business drivers and constraints, and presents alternative solutions to address problems and opportunities Attracts, develops, and retains talent across the organization to ensure succession plan Proactively communicates with key customers and establishes realistic expectations while effectively communicating difficult decisions/information Escalates issues to leadership as necessary Practices and adheres to the ---Code of Conduct--- philosophy and ---Mission and Value Statement--- --If you are looking for an opportunity that provides satisfaction and personal growth, we encourage you to apply.
