Our--455-bed acute care hospital is located on two campuses---in
mid-Pinellas County on the West Coast of Florida, providing medical
care for the residents of Largo, and the nearby cities of
Clearwater, Seminole, St. Petersburg and the Gulf Beach
communities. We are the only area hospital with all private patient

Florida-licensed CT Technologist (CT Tech) with an ARRT (CT)
credential on a full-time basis.-- This CT Tech opportunity has a
weekday schedule (Monday through Friday) from 1230 to 2100.-- Call
coverage may also be assigned.
The CT Technologist--demonstrates concern and empathy while
performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful
manner.-- Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe
manner in accordance with established operating procedures.--
Obtains high quality CT images.-- Maintains proactive, effective
communication with patient and physicians regarding any and all
findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate, and
collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the
- Must have current ARRT (CT)
- Valid Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of imaging experience, preferably in an
acute-care hospital setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the
American Heart Association
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to
work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing,
bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or
equipment up to 50 lbs.
