Job Description:

As a Park Signature/Hard Ticket Event Coordinator, you will assist the Signature Events, Festivals and Sponsorship leadership team with the planning and execution of multiple festivals and events across Walt Disney World. While supporting the Sponsorship Manager, you will also help coordinate contracts, research, creative planning, proofreading legal documents, key messaging communication, production/execution, and post-event evaluation. Through excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and relationship skills, you will use resources to focus on delivering exceptional support to our partners and provide magical Guest experiences.

If selected, you will report to the Festival & Signature Operations Manager.

Responsibilities/You Will

--- Collaborate with multiple partners through the planning process and on-site execution
--- Attend meetings and provide accurate meeting notes and action items
--- Be a creative thought partner applying knowledge of park operations and benchmarking best practices.
--- Successful at recognizing and working through challenges
--- Adapt to the fluctuating needs of partners
--- Establish relationships with important partners to ensure connectivity to the production teams and the Parks Leadership teams
--- Provide feedback and recommendations that can be implemented to improve future events
--- Manage assigned projects and provide updates to leadership and partners
--- Support a diverse team of hourly unionized Cast Members to ensure they have the resources needed
--- Recognize employees and hold them accountable for delivering excellence in safety, courtesy, show, efficiency, and inclusion

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

--- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting event/program planning or execution
--- Commitment to promote an inclusive work environment that supports diverse perspectives
--- Capability to share communication across teams to ensure everyone understand updates, priorities and appropriate course of escalation
--- Creativity to find solutions and anticipate operations impacts amidst constant change
--- Skills to identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation of changes
--- Facility to resolve conflict and serve as an advisor to others
--- Advanced skills managing time and tracking progress of multiple requests simultaneously
--- High proficiency working with computer applications and learning new software applications
--- Availability to work any schedule, including weekends, overnight shifts, holidays and overtime
--- Lift (30) pounds repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation
--- Work both indoors and outdoors for extended period of time with or without reasonable accommodation
--- Current training, or willing to be trained, in the use of a forklift

Preferred Qualifications/It Would Be Great to Also Have

--- Extensive Parks and Disney Springs knowledge
--- High proficiency creating PowerPoint presentations and proofreading legal documents
--- Current training, or willing to be trained, in the use of a forklift

Required Education

--- High school degree or equivalent
