Job Description:
Purpose of JobThis is a part-time, remote position (30 Hrs),
supporting the following locations; San Antonio, TX., Colorado
Spring, Co., Phoenix, Az., and Tampa, FlThis job profile is
designated as a Sensitive Position. Sensitive Positions are those
positions in which individuals have the authority and ability to
conduct in-scope activities (movement of USAA or Member funds) as
defined within the Enterprise Sensitive Positions Mandatory
Time-Away Compliance Policy. Employees in Sensitive Positions are
required to fulfill a Mandatory Time-Away (MTA) requirement of 10
consecutive business days each calendar year. Within defined
guidelines and frameworks closes and fulfills loans on a national
basis from point of application through final loan fulfillment.
Serve members by reviewing and evaluating loan files for
qualification and fulfilling the loan closing process. Communicate
with members, dealerships, financial institutions, and other third
parties to ensure all loans close and fulfill in accordance with
bank, investor, and regulatory guidelines.** Work Hours Monday -
Friday, between 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm CST.****WORK AT HOME
REQUIREMENTSMember contact employees must have access to minimum
broadband internet connection standards as defined by USAA. Current
requirements are as follows:Bandwidth must have minimum capability
of consistent speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Wireless and Satellite coverage is currently not approved. Must be
able to provide workspace at home that is safe, suitable for work,
and provide a distraction free environment from background noises
that may distract a member or internal USAA customer**Job
Requirements
- Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem
from business activities and the job role.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are
effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
- Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and
procedures for business activities.
- Serves members by reviewing and evaluating loan product files
for qualification and fulfillment of the loan closing process
- Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues;
researches and resolves moderate to complex consumer lending
issues; May handle escalated calls.
- Consistently and effectively contributes to team / organization
goals.
- May lead and coordinate testing efforts, process improvement
pilots, and projects.
- Evaluates loan files to ensure loan meets credit criteria and,
if necessary, communicate with appropriate parties to verify
customer payoffs, obtain and/or update purchase orders, title
applications, and dealer electronic checks.
- Provides guidance on complex issues or discrepancies/exceptions
identified.
- Verifies documentation for funding in accordance to compliance,
legal, regulatory, and investor guidelines.
- Lien Perfection follow-up duties; prepares appropriate
documents and initiates outbound calls to members and/or
third-party stake holders as necessary for lien perfection
purposes.
- May resolve loan issues by completing a variety of tasks such
as but not limited to general ledger entries, ticket approval,
accuracy of wires, release of monetary funds, and reconciliation of
general ledgers.Minimum Experience:
- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in
addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be
substituted in lieu of degree.
- 2 years of customer contact experience in financial
services.
- Proficient knowledge in all loan types and demonstrated
proficiency in Consumer Lending Process.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Bank loan products,
policies, consumer lending laws and regulations, and understanding
of documentation relating to consumer loans.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and applicable
systems.Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills
- Developed analytical problem solving and time management

responses.Compensation:USAA has an effective process for assessing
market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain
competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your
experience and market position. The salary range for this position
is: $43,680.00 - $65,700.00.Employees may be eligible for pay
incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or
at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.Geographical
Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay
provided to eligible employees working in locations where market
pay levels are above the national average. Shift premium will be
addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are
