The primary purpose of this position is to track, obtain and manage medical records required for a home healthcare agency.

Essential Job Function Duties and Responsibilities

1. Fax requests for medical records.

2. Call for status of medical records.

3. Track medical records.

4. Review medical records for compliance.

5. Scan medical records in EHR system and attach them to appropriate patient.

6. Attend 8:30 am "stand up" daily meetings and other meeting as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions. Must be pleasant and professional at all times. Must have great telephone etiquette. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication. Must be comfortable with computers and able to handle high volume in a stressful work environment.

Education and Experience

2 years scheduling experience with processing medical records.
