At Fill-Tech Solutions, we design and manufacture packaging equipment for food and pharmaceuticals, specializing in filling and sealing of containers for liquid/viscous products. Job duties:

The CNC programmer/Machinist will need to create programs for CNC mill and lathe and using FeatureCAM software, setup the machines and operate them. Will need to able to create fixtures for new parts, as needed, come up with machining strategies, best order of operations to maximize efficiency and precision. Must understand how to adjust speeds and feeds, how troubleshoot machining issues, how to read mechanical drawings, and how to properly measure part features depending on accuracy and precision needed.

Many of the parts we manufacture are custom made, constantly requiring new programs. The candidate will need to work with a team of machinists, and interact with Engineering and assembly departments, following company procedures to ensure smooth flow of production.

Occasional operation of manual mill, lathe, drill press or band saw may be necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have experience creating CNC programs with FeatureCAM software.
Must be able to understand mechanical drawings and have experience with measuring tools.
Minimum 3 years of experience with CNC programming and machine setup.
Experience with Haas VF-7 and TM-3P mills, and Haas ST-25 lathe highly desirable.
Must have positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
