Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites you to join our team as a Registered
Nurse specializing in Employee Health. This position plays a
pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of our healthcare
professionals across our network. With nearly 2,000 sites of care,
including hospitals and surgery centers, our employee health nurses
are critical to maintaining our high standards of healthcare
service, contributing directly to our mission of caring for and
improving human life. In this role, you will oversee health
screening, vaccination programs, and provide direct care and health
counseling to our employees. Your expertise in occupational health
will help minimize health risks and ensure our staff are healthy
and able to provide the best care to our patients. Conduct
pre-employment health assessments and periodic health screenings.
Administer and manage vaccination programs. Provide direct care and
counseling for occupational health concerns. Work closely with
Human Resources to manage leaves of absence related to health
issues. Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with
health and safety regulations. Coordinate with external and
internal stakeholders to improve health and wellness programs.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on occupational health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in
electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to manage and
administer vaccination programs Understanding of workplace health
and safety regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license Certification in
Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) is preferred
