HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled PRN Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. In this role, you will be integral in providing top-notch healthcare by handling endoscopic procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. As a PRN nurse, you will work on an as-needed basis, providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule while gaining the opportunity to work in a leading healthcare environment. Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by explaining processes and obtaining relevant medical history. Operate and monitor endoscopy equipment during procedures. Assess patients’ condition before, during, and after procedure, recognizing complications and initiating necessary medical interventions. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other medical staff to provide comprehensive care. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards. Provide patient education on procedure prep and post-care requirements. Proficiency in using endoscopic equipment and technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
