The unit has a total of 290 beds and employs 21 staff members. There are 6 therapists and a supervisor on day shift, with 4 therapists on night shift. The patient-to-staff ratio is manageable. Common equipment used includes Servo and 840 ventilators. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include nebulizer treatments, ABG draws from A-lines and sticks, and assisting in intubations and rapid responses. The ideal candidate should possess strong teamwork skills and a desire to be busy. This role includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.
