Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to
join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida . This as-needed position
offers flexibility while allowing you to provide high-quality,
patient-centered care. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement
individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility,
reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.
Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations and develop
personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Implement therapeutic interventions—such as exercises, manual
therapy, and modalities—to restore function and improve mobility.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise
programs, and injury-prevention techniques. Monitor and document
patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain
accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs,
physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language
pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain
compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to
patient care and documentation. Qualifications: Doctorate (DPT) or
Master’s (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Florida PT license or eligibility for licensure. CPR
certification (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Work Environment: PRN (as-needed) position with flexible
scheduling. Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient
clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or
