Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse for our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit
(CTICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing
top-tier medical care to patients in a highly specialized unit.
Using state-of-the-art technology, you will work alongside leaders
in cardiothoracic care and play a critical role in patient recovery
and outcomes. This position requires a compassionate professional
prepared to face challenges head-on and commit to the health and
well-being of patients undergoing major heart and lung surgeries.
Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in a cardiothoracic
ICU setting. Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatments as
necessary. Administer medications and collaborate with surgeons and
specialists. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery
care and health management. Maintain accurate patient records and
ensure confidentiality. Participate in ongoing training and
professional development. Strong clinical skills in a critical care
environment. Proficient in using medical software and patient
management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of current best practices in cardiothoracic critical
care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
Florida. BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart
Association. CCRN certification desirable.
