Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered
Nurse for our Surgical Transplant Intensive Care Unit. As part of
our committed team, the RN will provide direct nursing care in a
diverse healthcare environment. This role is pivotal in HCA’s
continuous mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
specifically within the Surgical Transplant ICU. You will work
alongside leading professionals in the field to enhance patient
outcomes, evaluate patient responses, and ensure that patient care
is delivered safely and effectively. Provide expert care to
patients with critical conditions requiring complex assessments,
high-intensity therapies, and interventions. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary health care teams to improve clinical outcomes.
Interpret assessments/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
Enforce a wide range of hospital policies, procedures, and
standards. Mentor and educate new nurses on best practices in
clinical skills and personal development. Strong clinical skills
with a focus on surgical and transplant patient care. Proficiency
in managing complex patient situations. In-depth knowledge of
infection control procedures and safety precautions. Experience
with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred. Certified Critical Care Nurse
(CCRN) certification is advantageous.
