Job Description:

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical unit on a PRN (as needed) basis. As a vital member of our nursing team, you will provide top-tier care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in a state-of-the-art medical environment. This role demands a commitment to patient health and a passion for advancing community well-being. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor cardiac and vascular health, administer medications, and maintain patient records. Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication management. Respond to life-saving situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Act as a patient advocate by ensuring that the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Proficiency in using medical software for patient care management. Strong skills in patient assessment and cardiovascular care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-stress situations. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
