Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and closely observe patients, intervening as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication management. Participate in research and implement best practices in care as appropriate. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred. Certified in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) a plus.
