Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and alerting surgical staff to potential complications. Administer and record prescribed medications. Conduct pre- and post-operative education for patients and their families. Maintain meticulous documentation of all surgical interventions and patient interactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care. Proficiency in surgical operations and aseptic technique. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication abilities, capable of explaining complex instructions clearly. Capable of rapid, sensible decision-making under pressure.
