Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered
Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab, who will be responsible
for providing specialized care to patients undergoing
catheterization procedures. Our hospital is equipped with the
latest cardiology technology and you will be part of a team that is
focused on delivering exceptional care tailored to the individual
needs of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of
cardiology procedures, patient care skills, and the ability to work
in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Prepare patients for
procedures by explaining the process and obtaining informed
consent. Administer and monitor patient status during procedures,
utilizing specialized equipment within the cath lab. Collaborate
with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize
patient care. Maintain records of patient treatment and outcomes
according to hospital policy. Participate in emergency care as
required and respond to patient complications immediately. Ensure
the cath lab is stocked and ready for procedures, adhering to all
sanitary regulations. Strong proficiency in monitoring and caring
for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families,
and medical staff. Ability to operate specialized cath lab
equipment safely and effectively. Robust problem-solving skills and
the capacity to work under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. BLS/ACLS certified by
the American Heart Association. Certification in Cardiovascular
Nursing (CVN) is highly preferable.
