Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is actively seeking a skilled
Registered Nurse RN OR First Assist to join our dynamic healthcare
team. This position is instrumental in ensuring the highest quality
of surgical care to our patients within the operating room. The
ideal candidate will be adept at providing direct assistance to
surgeons during surgical procedures, handling pre-operative and
post-operative patient care, and maintaining strict adherence to
safety protocols. This role requires a commitment to integrating
new surgical technologies and methodologies to enhance patient
outcomes within our state-of-the-art facility. Provide direct
surgical care and assistance to surgeons in the operating room.
Prepare and organize the operating room, ensuring all necessary
equipment and supplies are available. Monitor patient status and
provide updates to surgical teams. Implement preoperative and
postoperative care plans in accordance with patient needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
continuity of care. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and
guidelines to maintain patient safety and care standards. Strong
surgical assistance skills. Excellent patient assessment and
monitoring abilities. Proficient in using medical software and
surgical instruments. Ability to function effectively in
high-pressure environments. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
Florida. Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA)
preferred.
