Job Description Job Description Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent (Contingent) Shifts Available: Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends) Nights (Rotating Weekends) Location: Ocala, Florida Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department. This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously. The ER RN provides high-quality nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill or trauma patients while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the emergency department Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs Implement nursing strategies and interventions to achieve desired outcomes Manage multiple cases simultaneously while continually prioritizing care needs Provide follow-up care instructions and appropriate referrals upon discharge Coordinate care with physicians and other hospital departments Maintain a patient-focused and safety-conscious approach at all times Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED required) Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of start Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 90 days of start Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 90 days of start Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – within 6 months Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNCC Instructor – within 6 months Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – within 6 months Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 – Days $10,000 – Nights Relocation Assistance: Case by case Benefits A comprehensive benefits package is offered, which may include: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Prescription Drug and Behavioral Health Coverage Free Telemedicine and AirMed Medical Transportation Life and Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts and Supplemental Insurance Plans 401(k) with company match (3%–9% based on tenure) Employee Stock Purchase Plan Tuition Assistance and Student Loan Support Paid Time Off and Paid Family Leave Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs Colleague Recognition Programs and Consumer Discounts Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
