As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensiveemergency medical care to patients of all ages. Your duties will includeperforming assessments, diagnostics, and treatments for acute illnesses andinjuries. You will manage a wide range of cases, including trauma, cardiacemergencies, and respiratory distress, ensuring that patients receive timelyand effective care. Collaborationwith a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals is essential toensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for documentingpatient encounters, treatments, and progress. Additionally, you must respond promptly to emergencies and providelife-saving interventions when necessary. Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM preferred). Florida medical license (active and unrestricted). DEA license and ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
