Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and
dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Intensive
Care Unit. Our hospital is renowned for its commitment to

the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing top-notch
care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgeries and
managing complex cardiac conditions. This role demands a passion

well-being within a dynamic and supportive environment. Provide
direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the
Cardiothoracic ICU. Monitor patient conditions continuously and
adjust treatment plans as necessary. Administer medications,
maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with health and
safety standards. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare
professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care and
lifestyle adjustments required post-surgery. Manage critical
life-supporting medical equipment such as ventilators and
intravenous drips. Respond to medical emergencies within the unit
swiftly and decisively. Proficient in clinical skills with a focus
on cardiothoracic care. Ability to work effectively in
high-pressure situations. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Expertise in using electronic health record systems.
Capability to make quick, appropriate decisions in emergent
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
