Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse Coordinator for our Organ Transplant department.
This pivotal role involves overseeing the nursing care of organ
transplant patients, coordinating with various healthcare teams,
and ensuring that all medical protocols for organ transplantation
are adhered to. The successful candidate will be a crucial link
between patients, families, and the transplant team, facilitating
seamless communication and efficient care processes in a
high-stakes environment. With our focus on state-of-the-art

nursing operations within the organ transplant unit. Develop and
implement care plans for patients before and after transplantation.
Educate patients and families about procedures, treatment plans,
and organ transplant processes. Monitor patient conditions
continuously and respond to changes in status promptly. Liaise with
surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive care. Assist in the training and supervision of new
staff and nursing students. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards related to organ transplantation. Strong
clinical skills in surgical and critical care settings Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational
and leadership skills Proficiency in electronic medical record

of Florida Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse (CCTN) preferred
