Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a newly rebuilt middle school in Bradenton, FL. This contract role offers a full-time caseload serving approximately 60 students, including a self-contained/cluster program specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). The school features modern facilities and a dedicated office space designed to support effective therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and treatment to middle school students. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed. Support the self-contained/cluster program addressing EBD with tailored communication services. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Florida SLP license; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status will be considered. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school setting. Strong understanding of communication disorders commonly found in students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Location: Bradenton, FL modern middle school facility with quality office space available. This position is a contract assignment scheduled from January 2, 2025, through May 29, 2026.
