program in Florida for advanced heart failure surgery and heart
transplantation. HCA Florida Largo Hospital, located in Tampa Bay,
is seeking to employ a talented cardiothoracic surgeon with a
special interest in advanced heart failure surgery and heart
transplant. The program performs more than 600 heart surgeries a
year and continues to grow under the leadership of Dr. Christiano
Caldeira. Since performing its first heart transplant 5 years ago,
the hospital has now successfully completed more than 100 heart
transplants. Qualified Candidates: Board eligible/certified in
cardiothoracic surgery Fellowship trained in advanced heart failure
surgery Recent experience with ECMO, VAD and heart transplant
