qualified Home Health RN in Largo, Florida, 33773! Pay Information

Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Home
Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hours
Experience: Minimum 1 year of skilled home care experience required
License: Valid State License required Certifications: Basic Life
Support (BCLS) Must-Have: Must have infusion experience. Skilled
home care experience is required; private duty nursing experience
only will not be accepted. Must have home health experience with
OASIS training and experience. Description: The Home Health
Registered Nurse will perform skilled nursing visits for patients
in their homes. Nurses will conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and
provide basic wound care. Duties include managing ABI compression
dressing, wound vac dressing, and Pleurx/Astect drain care. The
role requires foley catheter changes and care, staple and suture
removal, and the use of glucometers and pro-time machines.
Additionally, nurses will perform subcutaneous and intramuscular
injections, lab draws via venipuncture, and demonstrate IV skills.
PICC line or midline care and dressing changes, as well as
subcutaneous port access and deaccess, are also responsibilities.
Daily skilled home visits will be 6-8 depending on patient needs.
Nurses will need to manage patients with various healthcare
diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction,
pneumonia, and stroke. Previous patient care experience within the
last 3 months is required. Nurses must demonstrate up-to-date
skills and maintain compliance with vaccination requirements. A
valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for home visits are
essential. The position requires a consistent willingness to work
based on the needs of the office and adapt to varying shifts.
Portable equipment such as laptops and MiFi for internet access
will be provided. All visits and hours are self-scheduled according
