working environment /n /n POSITION SUMMARY: Performs complete and
diagnostic Magnetic Resonance imaging studies of pediatric patients
for radiologist interpretation. /n KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: /n /n 1.
Produces and evaluates images according to defined protocols to
assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams
and patients for treatment and plan of care for patients /n 2.
Adheres to Radiology specific policies in regards to patient safety
that are established by the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital,
regulatory, and accreditation governing bodies /n 3. Maintains
required levels of education that pertain to clinical, family, and
patient centered care /n 4. Protects and complies with Magnetic
Resonance Zone safety possessing knowledge of restrictions and
contraindications; screens patient for contraindications to MRI and
contrast administration in compliance with ACR guideline for MR
Safety /n 5. Supports anesthesia staff in collaboration with
Radiology nursing staff to prepare and monitor sedated patients in
the MRI environment /n /n QUALIFICATIONS: /n /n - Satisfactory
completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program /n -
3 years’ MRI experience required in neuro, body, musculoskeletal
and vascular areas /n - A.R.R.T. (R) (MR); Florida Radiography
License; Current Basic Life Support, AHA /n - Strong computer
skills in multiple databases for the acquisition and manipulation
of image data, utilizing 3d, neuro-functional post-processing
workstations, PACS and electronic charting /n - MRI contrast
administration with IV skills /n /n Location: St. Petersburg, FL /n
Shift: Rotating shifts based on the needs of the department,
including some weekend shifts. /n Status : Casual / On-Call /n
Salary Range: Minimum 44.00/hour - Maximum 44.00/hour. Compensation
will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of
similar scope and responsibility. /n In cases where the range is
displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during
candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation
discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
