Full Job Description BrightStar Care of Pinellas is looking for a well-organized, detail-oriented RN/LPN Care Coordinator for our busy and growing pediatric/nursing department. Responsibilities/Job functions * Work with DON and Clinical Nursing Supervisor to build schedules for clients. * Expedite, track, document, and complete patient referrals in a timely manner. * Answer and return calls to patient's families and case managers in a timely manner. * Meet with clients to make sure assessments are up to date and relate this information to the nursing department * Document all activities regarding nurses and clients. * Confirm Nurses have clocked in and are at their scheduled shift. * Skilled payroll and billing. * Assist with new nurse orientations. * Participate in the on-call rotation. * Other duties as assigned by the Administrator, DON, Or Clinical Nursing Supervisor Qualifications * Passion for helping Pediatric clients and their families. * An outgoing personality and excellent communication and orginizational skills * Compassion, understanding, and empathy. * Valid LPN/RN License * Experience reviewing nursing notes * Experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint * 3 years of experience in healthcare related field * Prior experience is preferred
