This position is responsible for creating new analytical tools, running ad-hoc reports, analyzing current performance trends, and interfacing with Workforce Planning Center based resources. This position will work closely with various technical, reporting, and clinical resources to identify and support key strategies by leveraging data from various financial and operational systems. The Manager Research & Analytics will work in tandem with corporate and division based labor management resources.-- The Manager Research & Analytics runs routine static reports and drill downs from web based reporting tools to support WPC strategies. This position is responsible for testing and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the labor analytics work product of the WPC.-- The Manager is responsible for the preparation and presentation of pertinent analyses to various members of the WPC organization. This individual must possess excellent analytical skills, experience compiling and distributing reports.---- Preferred knowledge of HCA---s data sources related to staff scheduling, labor management and employee level information. Individual must demonstrate self-motivational qualities, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and attaining goals. ----Customer service and the ability to present information to executives is necessary for success.-- The position requires great flexibility and experience with change management.----Responsibilities include:-- -- Collaborates with WPC leaders to determine areas requiring research and provides solutions to business opportunities Actively listens and observes WPC implementation processes and proposes / creates analytic support tools Collaborates with nursing and PI resources to identify gaps in scheduling processes and resources Investigates issues reported to WPC by facility staff and leaders Researches options for issue resolution tracking tools, prepares business case, and implements selected tool Report development, maintenance, and enhancement work Conducts ad-hoc analyses to analyze new trends Collaborates with WPC Leaders on the distribution of reports and data to the Divisions and facilities Works with PI Education to develop report training for facility and Division users Communicates with WPC Leaders on report findings and root cause analysis Maintains understanding of labor relations and contractual obligations impacting WPC operations Documents business requirements of new reporting tools Performs periodic QA checks on labor management data produced by the Performance Improvement department --If you are looking for an opportunity that provides satisfaction and personal growth, we encourage you to apply.
