Job Summary: The Director of the Emergency Services Department is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in the emergency department. This role involves identifying problems affecting service and implementing solutions, participating in hospital-wide committees, coaching and providing feedback to subordinates, adhering to human resource policies, and effectively communicating departmental information to staff. The Director must also build relationships and networks to deliver organizational and departmental goals, enforce standards of care, develop emergency service programs, monitor compliance with regulations and policies, and oversee a program to monitor critical aspects of care. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in emergency services required
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice
• Current certification in ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS

  • Compensation: $135-145K based on leadership experience, with up to a 22.5% performance bonus
  • Sign-on and relocation bonuses determined on a case-by-case basis
