It is not intended, nor should it be construed, to represent a comprehensive and/or exhaustive description of all duties/responsibilities and requisite skills associated with the position.SUMMARYThe Manager of Strategic Partnership Pursuit (MSPP) will be responsible for the planning and tracking of all project, sustainment activities & tasks involving key strategic customers/opportunities. This role will include coordinating activities in a multi-functional discipline matrix environment involving the sales, marketing and business development teams among others to bring all customer needs and requests to realization.OVERALL RESPONSIBILITYIn this role, the MSPP will oversee day-to-day tasks, issues, and initiatives to grow partnerships with strategic accounts and improve relationships with existing priority accounts. Working with the Zoho CRM suite of web-based software products, the MSPP will catalog strategic sales efforts and, more importantly, automate a follow-up system that will engage the sales team and eliminate stranded priorities. As an integral part of the sales team, the MSPP is to be involved with all things mission-critical to developing stronger partnerships with strategic customers. Coordinating the business logistics of key sales efforts will require the MSPP to keep senior management and all relevant BECO players informed of next steps as well as any issues that create bottlenecks or barriers to the completion of a strategic sale. Among the elements requiring continual integration into the sales effort are critical items from the Design Review Board, tracking of Customer Evaluation Units, long-term power construction/retrofit projects, and large-volume proposals. The MSPP will employ current software applications and is expected to implement the use of additional, related applications to enhance sales team communications internally and to customers. The MSPP creates an environment where the skills of individuals are developed and applied, creating value for the business. The candidate must have people management skills and experience in leading multi-disciplined/functional project teams and can demonstrate the ability to manage teams effectively. The ability to multi-task in a changing environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines will allow the MSPP to succeed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following.   • Support Regional Sales Managers in new business exploration, particularly for high volume sales of the latest product line
  • Synchronize and prioritize multi-departmental efforts related to strategic opportunities
  • Coordinate with Beckwith System Engineering Project Tracking efforts to convey priority projects to sales team
  • Train sales team members on useful features of the CRM software
  • Provide basic instruction to senior management to retrieve and view CRM-generated reports
  • Provide active support in strategic, large-volume bids
  • Assess satisfaction among priority customers, and direct members of Sales and CTS to engage those customers to meet their needs
  • Lead future expansion of project management tools to include other departments
  • Create better visibility in our CRM suite of all customer facing interactions
  • Document and maintain processes related to the MSPP responsibilitiesREQUIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Proven experience with project management software; proficiency with CRM software a plus (Zoho or similar web-based software preferred)
    • The ability to interpret written and oral instruction and move projects to completion
    • Proficiency with managing databases and using logical operators to query data
    • Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal/presentation/relationship building)
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office suite products
    • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

      • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline
      • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management or CRM Software
      • Strong knowledge and understanding of power industry
