Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

School levels, specializing in self-contained classrooms. This
contract position is located in Saint Petersburg, FL, offering

students with exceptional needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instruction in self-contained ESE classrooms,
supporting learners across grades K-12. Develop, implement, and
monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior
Intervention Plans (BIPs). Effectively manage student behaviors
while simultaneously achieving curriculum goals. Collaborate with
school staff to adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet
diverse learner needs. Maintain detailed records and communicate
progress to parents and administration. Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Florida Educators Certificate in Special
Education (K-6 for Elementary positions or K-12 for Middle and High
School positions). Proven experience working in self-contained
special education classrooms. In-depth knowledge of the IEP and BIP
development and implementation processes. Strong classroom
management skills, with an ability to balance behavioral support
and academic instruction. Ability to work effectively within a team
and support students with diverse learning requirements. Location:
