Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract
covering the remainder of the current school year, located in
Ocala, FL at an elementary school setting. This role involves
providing speech and language support to students from PreK through
5th grade within a single school assignment. Location: Ocala, FL
(Elementary School) Duration: March 15, 2026 May 29, 2026
(Maternity leave coverage) Schedule: Five days per week, 37.5 hours
total Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to a
caseload of 70-80 students aged PreK-5th grade Utilize
communication devices and implement visual supports tailored for
sensory needs Address behavior challenges with support from an
on-site assistant and colleague SLP Collaborate with school staff
to support individual student needs and enhance communication
outcomes Qualifications: Valid Florida Department of Health
professional license for Speech Language Pathology required
Experience working with communication devices and behavior
intervention strategies preferred Ability to incorporate visual
supports for sensory needs advantageous Prior experience in a
school setting working with children PreK-5th grade is highly
desirable Additional Information: This position offers a full
weekly schedule covering maternity leave Supported by an assistant
