Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services in a middle school
setting, focusing on supporting approximately 60 students,
including those in a self-contained/cluster Emotional and
Behavioral Disorders (EBD) program. This full-time contract
position begins ASAP and extends through May 29, 2026, located in
Bradenton, FL. The role offers a modern work environment within a
recently rebuilt school facility with updated office spaces and
potential for virtual service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized
treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy for middle
school students. Collaborate with educators, families, and
multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with
district guidelines and state regulations. Engage in professional
development and stay current with best practices in school-based
speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Masters degree in
Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Florida SLP license. Credentials
favored: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered.
Experience or interest working with diverse populations, including
students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. Strong
interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work
independently and possibly provide virtual services.
